I thank Dr. Haluk Günerman very much for volunteering his service to translate some of my works in Turkish. Appended below is brief introduction to Dr. Günerman in his own words.

Dr. Haluk Günerman
 

Salam! 

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey on Oct.15, 1941.

I graduated from the American School, Robert College in Istanbul (Lycee). I have attended The School of Engineering of Robert College and received a B.S. and then an M.S. in Civil Engineering in 1965. Then, I started to work in Izmir, at State Hydraulic Works. Meanwhile as a part time job, I started to teach in the School of Engineering in Izmir. In 1974 I received the Ph.D in CE and in 1981 I became Associate Professor. From 1981 until 2000 I worked for AFAPREFABRIK A.S as the General Manager of the firm (Manufacturing precast concrete components).

Recently I work as a consultant in my own firm: HEG CONSULTING LTD.

I am married, have a son and a daughter (both single yet), and live in the city of Izmir at the moment. My son received an MBA Degree from Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania; My daughter has a BA in Marketing.

I speak English and German.

In the Year of 2002 my wife and I went to Makkah for Hajj.
