AskMe.com is a people's Expert forum. Those who feel that they have some expertise and interest in helping with others' questions can signup as experts at Askme.com . I began my participation there nearly four months ago. It has been a learning experience for me as I tried to deal with various types of questions posed by people who were interested in learning and those whose focus was primarily on stirring up debates so that they could express the answers they have already formulated in their mind.

Many of these questions were related to minor research helps, and many were substantive. In a few cases, it was truly gratifying being able to touch a few lives as many others have touched mine in my life. There were times when I simply could not keep up with the pace of questions as maintaining one's expert ranking in this process is extremely competitive. I have organized a selected number of questions/answers according to the categories I signed up under as an expert. Especially, in regard to my answers to Islam related questions, my answers should not be considered authoritative, but only as an aide to one's pursuit to better understand various aspects of Islam about which I was asked questions.

In some cases, I have deleted or substituted the name where the a privacy issue is involved.
